Adding By Subtraction

We praise God because we are absolutely saved by his amazing grace alone. However, in the next action, moment, are situation we will add to grace and work our tails off to earn favor with God. When we make our prefrences in church absolutes we actually displease God and make ourselves seem silly. In this sermon we will discover that the gospel is not addition, the gospel is addition by subtraction, and the gospel is unifying for churches. The formula may not make sense and God's grace towards us is foreign to this worlds concepts but in the gospel we find good news for weary souls. We hope this sermon will encourage you to throw yourself at the mercy of God and to praise God for his glorious mercy!
